Late Fees Resume July 2023
Beginning July 2023, HEC will resume charging late fees on all consumer electric bills. We were fortunate enough to be able to waive late fees for our customers for the past three years, but find it necessary to reinstate this fee. Any bills not paid by the due date will be charged a late fee of 5% of the current bill charges.
To avoid late fees, consider enrolling in our Auto Draft program. If you need assistance paying your bill, you may contact the following agencies to apply:
