The Energy Share Program is designed to assist those in need with paying their heating bills. We offer two options for customers wishing to make donations to this program.
The first option is to determine a set “Contribution” amount that you would like to be billed monthly on your electric bill. The second option is to participate in our “Round Up” program in which each monthly electric bill will be rounded up to the nearest dollar, with the portion rounded going toward the Energy Share Program.
All donations are tax deductible. For tax purposes, a summary of total contributions for the year will be reflected on your statement each month.
All funds received for the Energy Share Program will be managed by local agencies. As long as funds are available, they will make payments for all qualifying customers.
