HEC serves over 18,000 customers including residential, commercial, industrial and government entities within the city limits of Harrisonburg. Power Cost Adjustment Factor:
The Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA) from HEC's power supplier, Dominion Resources, has increased from $.01216 per KWH to $.0229 per KWH. The fuel cost is used to cover the cost of fuel used in electric generating stations and power purchased from other sources to meet customer demand. Fuel costs are passed through to customers on a dollar-for-dollar basis.
